Chelse Freeman, CEMT
With a unique perspective combining both a thorough background in traditional horsemanship, nutrition and care as well as a more holistic approach with massage therapy, energy work and classical Chinese medicine practices, Chelse’s approach to bodywork honors each horse and their individual needs, helping them to feel and perform their best.
As a 2014 graduate of Rocky Mountain College’s esteemed Equestrian Program, Chelse Freeman pairs her many years of horse experience with dual Bachelor of Science degrees consisting of majors in Equitation & Training, Riding Instruction and Equine Business & Marketing to bring you a comprehensive understanding of your horse, body, mind and spirit.
Graduate of The School Applied Integrative Therapy Equine, a 500 hour certification program in Equine Massage and Bodywork, Chelse has also earned certification in Equine Massage through NBCAAM - the National Board of Certification of Animal Acupressure and Massage.
Continuing Education
Chelse is dedicated to continually learning and growing in her practice to better serve the horses in her care. She is currently working toward certification in Saddlefit 4 Life’s Equine Ergonomist Program, focusing on saddle fit and equine biomechanics.
Her past training includes:
Equine Five Element Acupressure: A 2-year certification program through Elemental Acupressure, providing a strong foundation in Classical Chinese Medicine and its application to equine health.
Equine Myofascial Release, Levels 1 & 2: Completed with Ruth Mitchell-Golladay and Equilearn Institute, focusing on techniques to release tension and improve mobility and comfort.
This ongoing education reflects her commitment to offering thoughtful, individualized care tailored to each horse's unique needs.
